So this is interesting for a few reasons.  First of all, holy shit a protest actually worked!  Legitimately, the effected companies/individuals took a stand and achieved results.  How rare.  Second, this is revealing in that it seems more and more corporations, specifically the ones that control information, are far more powerful than the government that theoretically regulates them.  Lobbyists and legislators look powerless in the face of the simple reality that a few companies truly control the flow of information in a way that makes our economy (and thus our country) work.  What does that mean for mere mortals…yikes.
