giftpony: i hear reports you are relocating to the west coast. do you feel that this will affect the style of your blog at all?

Dear Gift Pony,

This is a great question.  With my impending relocation to the BEST coast, there may indeed be a shift in the color and tone of my blog. There will definitely be a shift in the color and tone of my human body. And I hear Vitamin D is good for your soul, so it’s a solid bet that my long hours of weeping indoors on overcast days (everyday) will be replaced with skipping and twirling on sunny beaches.  So, you know, less Elliott Smith, more Shuggie Otis and NWA.

However, given that I will be starting a new job, there is also a good chance I will actually have to work all day, and not “work from home”/tumblrize between phone calls.  Let’s hope I can still find time to highlight what’s winning the internet for my friendly followers.  Who am I kidding, I love the internet.  I’LL NEVER LEAVE YOU.
