Red Band Trailer: ‘Only God Forgives’ - July 19th

Written and directed by Nicolas Winding Refn, starring  Ryan Gosling, Kristin Scott Thomas and Tom Burke.

Holy mother of god.  So Nicolas Winding Refn is basically like Kubrick meets Tarantino.  Aka beautiful, terrifying, and completely unpredictable.

Margin Call is maybe the best film I’ve seen this year.  Go see it.

Words cannot describe everything that’s wrong with this.  It’s like some desperate writer took advantage of the senile, out-of-touch movie exec by telling him the kids are all about bikes these days.

Just a little shoutout to the godfather of all movie and product design, Saul Bass.  He did just about every cool opening title sequence you can imagine too.
